With an emphasis on fun, hockey is a game played and enjoyed for life. Starting with the bonds created in the locker room to relationships formed on the ice, hockey creates lifelong friendships. Gay Hockey Washington D.C. (GHDC) is the DC area’s inclusive Q-straight social hockey team to promote confidence, focus, lifelong friendships, sportsmanship, and team building. GHDC’s aims to drive positive social change against homophobia through hockey and customized diversity training opportunities for the wider DC hockey community.
