Profile
The Bluegrass Classic league bowls Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. at Kingpin Lanes in Louisville, Ky.
Everyone who bowls or substitutes in the league is required to join the United States Bowling Congress (unless already paid in another league for the season) and pay the weekly bowling fee. The league is comprised of four-man teams. Each team should have a minimum of four permanent bowlers and may utilize alternates. Exceptions can be made for a three-man team if necessary.
The League
The Bluegrass Classic league was formed circa 1983 as an LGBT bowling league and was one of the first LGBT leagues formed in the United States and Canada. The league has continuously bowled since its formation. The league is a member of the United States Bowling Congress (fka American Bowling Congress) and the International Gay Bowling Organization.
