The WBC is a one-week adult baseball tournament held in January. Players over 30 years old and of various skill levels can play baseball in the Gulf Coast city of Fort Myers, FL. Participants can come as free agents or with a group of other friends/players who form the core of a team.
WBC games are played at the Terry Park Complex east of downtown Fort Myers, where baseball has been played since 1926. Teams are guaranteed 7 games (weather permitting).
Each year, approximately 200 players from several states and foreign countries make the journey to participate in the WBC tournament while enjoying temperatures of 70+ degrees. Plan to join us Sunday, January 26th, through Saturday, February 1st, 2025, for the Wooden Bat Classic and enjoy a great week of sunshine and baseball.
How to register
The registration fee for the Wooden Bat Classic is $485 on or before December 14, 2024 and $535 after December 14, 2024. Please print and complete the registration form (found at the top of the page) and send to the Wooden Bat Classic address located on the registration form. The registration form includes important information regarding player's age and desired defensive position as well as a "Consent Agreement and Injury Waiver" statement.
Registration for the 2025 Bob Wagner's Wooden Bat Classic is December 14, 2024. Please honor the December 14th date seriously as creating schedules, finding teams for free agents, securing fields, etc. depends on the number of participants. Late additions create difficulties in organizing the Wooden Bat Classic tournament so please honor the December 14th deadline.
Please have the completed registration form in the mail and postmarked no later than December 14, 2024 otherwise the registration fee increases to $535.
The Wooden Bat Classic accepts payments with personal checks, money orders, credit cards or Zelle. Credit card payments are processed through the PayPal system. If paying the registration fee with a Visa or MasterCard, the process is simple. Send in the registration form, then an invoice along with instructions will be emailed on how to pay online with a credit card. Please note: A service fee of $20 will be added to PayPal credit card payments.
