Coach:
The ATAC Masters team is coached by Sami Pochowski. Coach Sami has earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilitation at Thomas University. She completed her Undergraduate degree at Florida State University in Exercise Science while apart of the Varsity Swimming team (2012-2016). Coach Sami has been part of the ATAC Family for over 6 years now, working with the Masters, Senior, PreSenior, and Novice Groups. Coach Sami was our Novice Coordinator from Fall 2020 until May 2022 and enjoyed the opportunity to get to teach young swimmers new skills and the love of the sport of swimming. She was recognized as an ASCA TOP 50 Age Group Coach in 2021. Coach Sami’s goal is to not only have athletes recognize their potential in sport, but to gain confidence and skills in being good people too. She recently got married in 2020 (maiden name was Pochowski).
