The Bird Creek Barbarians or ‘Barbos” are a competitive men’s club in Anchorage, Alaska with 30+ years of history as Anchorage’s premiere social rugby club. The Bird Creek Barbarians are long standing members of the Alaska Rugby Union. Our season runs from mid-May to mid-August, with social events and fundraisers throughout the year. Practices begin in late April with the season commencing the third week of May. Numerous tournaments are held throughout the season.
