The Boise Senior Softball Association promotes softball for Men 50+
The Association sponsors four Draft leagues and one Designated team league in partnership with the City of Boise’s Parks and Recreation Department.
The Monday night league is an open league for all players 50+. Monday league teams are self-organized and recruit their players. The league plays ten games in the spring and eight in the fall. This is the Association’s most competitive league. Additionally, the league has a recreational draft league for players 70+ on Monday night.
The Draft leagues are setup by players registering and drafted onto team by coaches picked by the Association. Thus, if you turn 50, 60, 65, or 70 anytime during the year you are qualified to play that year in corresponding league(s). The leagues play ten games in the spring and eight in the fall.
The Tuesday night league is a recreational draft league for players 60+.
The Wednesday night leagues are recreational draft leagues for players 50+ and a 65+ division.
The Association also sponsors a one-day draft tourney in May each year which is open to players 50+.
Additionally, the Association’s members form traveling tournament teams which participate in tournaments sponsored by Senior Softball USA. These teams have brought home multiple National and Regional Championship Trophies. You can find more information about the Association on the Organization and History pages.
The Association is open to senior players from the entire Treasure Valley.
