The Centennial Slo-Pitch League was founded in 1974 and is Incorporated with the Province of Ontario.
The slo-pitch softball league is based in Etobicoke and offers weekly scheduled games to 100 teams in men’s/women’s/coed categories starting in May and running through to September.
The league is affiliated with Slo-Pitch National and uses similar rules. The league is also home to the Centennial Umpire organization, a group of umpires who officiate the weekly games.
Divisions including Mens, Womens, Coed divisions are hosted on various weeknights – Monday – Friday. There are no weekend games, there are no games scheduled on Monday’s of long weekends.
Teams are asked to indicate what weeknight and division they are looking to participate in. Divisions vary from Competitive to Recreational – C,D,E and Fun. New teams will be asked to provide a player list which should list the highest levels played for each player for the past 3 years.
The league accepts team entries only. Each team is responsible for having enough players. Individual players may have their name put onto a player list that is provided to teams who are looking for players. The league accepts no responsibility for players selected by teams from the extra player list.
