The Central Texas Baseball League incorporated in October 2003. The league originally formed because no one was offering adult baseball in the fall. Adult baseball includes recreational players age 18 to 40 and older, playing real hard ball on local fields. We play modified Major League Baseball rules, with independent batting and defensive lineups, free defensive substitution, wear steel spikes, steal bases (or get thrown out tryin’!), hit home runs, bunt, all that good stuff you don’t get to do when you’re playing slow-pitch softball. Most players have some high school experience and some have some college or professional experience.
Most of our games are on Sundays, with a few night and Saturday games as well.
