Collier County Senior Softball was formed in 1991 by Jim Kirby and Max Hurt. In the early days, guys would show up at Veterans Park to play the game they loved, and thus, the league began.
CCSS now has over 250 members and three divisions: AAA, Major, and Recreational Division. Over 150 games were played at North Collier Park (Jan-Mar), culminating with playoffs and championship games for AAA and Major divisions in March.
