The Greater Hartford Independent Baseball League, GHIBL, is an amateur wood bat league. The league was established in 2004 by Eric M. Hoss. Players of all experience and ages compete in the greater Hartford area of Connecticut on Sunday’s throughout the months of April, May, June, July, August and September. Since the league has been created it has been fueled by a board and managers that pride themselves on providing a competitive environment, filled with great fields, umpires and teammates.
GHIBL has steadily grown over the years, whether it be with new teams or players, GHIBL remains true to providing a great atmosphere for all. GHIBL is always looking for new talented players that want to play competitive baseball.
