The Oklahoma City Crusaders Rugby Club brought the great sport of Rugby Union back to the fantastic Oklahoma City Metro Area in 2007. Since then, the women and men who joined the club have made it one of the premier teams competing in the Texas Rugby Union. The Crusaders also have strong ties to our city through volunteer work and community projects.
The club aims to provide structure for players of all ages and abilities to learn and enjoy the game to their highest ability and commitment level while also providing the platform necessary to develop elite players who compete at the highest level of the sport. Most importantly, the club aims to provide an environment that promotes health, inclusivity, sportsmanship, and passion for the club and sport of rugby, the fastest-growing team sport in the US.
WOMEN
Our women’s team currently plays 7s/10s in Texas Rugby Union Division 3. We play 7s and beach rugby in the summer and aim to play 15s in the fall.
Our men’s team are currently playing 15s in Texas Rugby Union Division 4. We play 7s and beach rugby in the summer.
Men’s and Women’s Practice is every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and hold optional fitness before at 6pm at our pitch near Will Rogers Park!
