Daytona Beach Rugby Club was founded in the fall of 1982 in Daytona Beach, Florida, by Gerry Keating with help from his brother Peter Keating and friend Chuck May. Our home pitch is located on the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University campus’s east field and has the famous Daytona International Speedway as its backdrop. DBRC is active year-round and is comprised mostly of Embry Riddle Students (Iron Eagle Rugby Club) combined with Daytona State College students, local coaches, and community professionals. We are a member of USA Rugby in the south region and compete as part of the Florida Rugby Union in the Men’s Divisions III and IV.
