WELCOME! Thank you for your interest in the Greater Daytona Beach Senior Softball Association (GDBSSA). If you are new to GDBSSA, here is some basic information.
GDBSSA is open to all players age 60 and up. We are dedicated to making softball enjoyable for all who play.
We play in two divisions – Junior division (age 60+) and Senior division (age 70+). The JR division plays games on Monday and Wednesday mornings, and the SR division plays games on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
We play three seasons each year – Approximate dates are Winter (January-March), Summer (May-July), and Fall (September-November).
Open practices are held throughout the week and are used for new player evaluations.
New players – please give us your information; we will contact you to arrange a “tryout.”
