Greater Philadelphia Flag Football (GPFFL) was founded for LGBTQIA+ members and allies by LGBTQIA+ members and our allies. Through sport and community engagement, our league creates opportunities for LGBTQ+ people and our allies around the Greater Philadelphia area to learn and grow through football and to find refuge in a community that welcomes all. Whether you’re with us for a day, a season, or a decade, we know your time with GPFFL will transcend football. Off the field, we are an ever-growing community rooted in inclusivity and joy and we want you to be a part of it!
MORE THAN A LOCAL LEAGUE
Beyond being a local LGBTQIA+ Sports league that runs local seasons every Fall and Spring, we offer two travel teams: The Philadelphia Lightning (Women’s+) and The Philadelphia Revolution (Open). Both teams compete in multiple National Gay Flag Football League (NGFFL) tournaments every year and are rapidly growing as our local league expands.
