ADULT LEARN TO ROW
Lake Phalen Rowing welcomes adults who would like to get a sense of the beauty and camaraderie that can be found rowing on the calm waters of Lake Phalen. This class offers over 6 hours of instruction on land and on the water, including basics of the rowing stroke and how to handle the rowing equipment. It’s a great introduction to rowing for first-timers as well as a refresher for rowers who have some previous experience. You will develop the skills and vocabulary needed to row safely, learn to row in time with others, giving you the full flavor of rowing. Learn to Row (LTR) is a beginner program for adults (18+) of all ages and fitness levels with no prior rowing experience. Participants have the option to register for a 4 day program in the summer starting in May, June, July, and August. After successful completion of the 4 day program, rowers will have the option to continue rowing with our adult novice group. Class size is limited so register early.
