In 1989, the Los Angeles Flag Football League (‘LAFF’) was formed to promote the positive social and athletic enjoyment of American Flag Football.
We’re a community of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) and Straight Ally Flag Footballers who work to eliminate, and play in an environment free from, prejudice, bullying and discrimination.
To increase the visibility of LGBTQ+ athletes and competitions, and provide a supportive environment for LGBTQ+ individuals to improve fundamental athletic skills through our instructive skills clinics, league play and partnerships with local and national LGBTQ+ sports.
We also seek through our organization, events and members, to foster and augment the self-respect of LGBTQ+ persons and to engender respect and understanding from the larger community.
