Profile
The Minneapolis Menagerie Rugby Club was founded in 1986 under the original name of the “Heebe Jeebe’s.” The club officially latched onto its definition of “a collection of wild animals on display” when it changed its name to Minneapolis Menagerie Rugby Club in 1989.
The team colors are purple, black, and white.
Menagerie’s current membership includes both active players and social members. Active players include single and married women ages 18-55, career women in the health & law fields, manufacturing, engineering, management, education, business, and the military. This diverse group of women makes a yearlong commitment to play high-quality rugby, strengthen women’s rugby in Minnesota, and have fun!
