The Metro Detroit Softball League is comprised from over 400 diverse individuals who have come together through team sport to support and celebrate the LGBTQ community. Beyond games held most weeks April through August, MDSL organizes fundraisers and generates sponsorship revenue to help make individual participation affordable and accessible to all.
In our growth, we are committed to working with our presenting sponsor, Affirmations in spreading the word on subjects and causes that directly affect the LGBTQ community. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of acceptance and awareness, enriching the lives of our members through activity, opportunity, knowledge, and friendship.
