Welcome! The Over 70 softball league was started in 2014 with the idea of providing seniors 70 and older a place to continue playing without hardcore macho competitiveness. Here, players can compete in a relaxed atmosphere while still enjoying the game. We are a non-profit organization and are funded by membership dues only. Membership is open to all seniors age 70 or older, and all skill levels are accepted. Nashua, NH, residency is not required to participate. Many players come from local NH communities & MA.
New players who have not played softball in many years are encouraged to ease into the game to avoid possible injury. We are a recreational group, and winning is NOT of prime importance, other than giving you bragging rights. Many players join for the camaraderie of team play and social interaction.
