Founded in 1978, Nooga Rugby is a Men’s Division II and Division III (Nooga Red and Nooga Black, respectively) rugby program located in Chattanooga, TN. Nooga Rugby is in the True South rugby conference, where they are 7x conference champions and current title holders, with a top-10 national finish in 2021.
Nooga Rugby is backed by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Chattanooga Rugby Club. We welcome ALL players, regardless of experience.

We welcome ALL players, regardless of skill or experience. Never seen a rugby ball before? Don’t know the rules? Just curious to try a new sport? Just show up to practice, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Experienced player? Competed at a high level? Former player looking to get back into it? Great, you’ll learn our systems quickly and get some time on the pitch!
Practice is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Montague Park, 1151 East 23rd Street, Chattanooga, TN 37408 – from 6:30 – 8:30 PM
