Profile
OUTSLOPES Toronto is celebrating its 18th season with a full schedule of local day trips, extended out of town trips, parties and get togethers.
An all-volunteer organization, OUTSLOPES Toronto is open to all members of the LGBTQ community and our allies.
Skiing / Snowboarding is an individual sport, but that doesn’t mean it’s not more fun with friends. Â We are a recreational ski & snowboard club with a focus on enjoying being active and experiencing what winter in Ontario has to offer.
With over 400 local members, OUTSLOPES Toronto offers a vibrant schedule of weekly day-trips to both public and private local hills, and monthly socials and dinners.
With a full season Out-of-Town Tip calendar, members travel Canada, the USA, and other parts of the world, meeting up with other OUTSLOPES members and connecting with the rest of the global LGBT ski/snowboard community, forging new friendships, and sometimes even relationships.
Come join us on the slopes and in the chalets this winter!
Travel Trips
During the season OUTSLOPES Toronto joins with other OUTSLOPES Local Member Clubs for exciting travel trips to destinations around the world. Â These trips are a great way to connect with other LGBT skiers & snowboarders from around the world, and experience some of the bigger mountains and also some fun festivals too.
Local Day Trips
As long as there is snow on the ground, every weekend (with a break for the Christmas holidays), we hit up the local hills and resorts near Toronto for local day trips. Â We organize carpooling to help everyone get there, so even if you don’t have a car, you can still participate in our day-trips around the Toronto area.
Typically we hit up a public hill one day for all our Blue Square members to participate in, and on the other day we’ll head to one of the private ski clubs in the area for Black Diamond members to enjoy shorter lift lines and more slopes time.
PLEASE NOTE:Â Local day trip location scheduling can (and probably will) change regularly as special events at local resorts are announced, weather conditions shift, or volunteer member trip leaders’ personal schedules change.
