Profile
History, Mission, & Core Values
PADA offers a variety of opportunities for people of all lifestyles and demographics to play Ultimate. Adult leagues exist across the Philadelphia area, from Center City to Delaware, Chester County, and South Jersey. PHUEL, our high-school league, provides opportunities for thousands of youth in the Philadelphia area. PADA runs weekend tournaments for players of all skill levels year round.
Our History
The Philadelphia Area Disc Alliance was founded in 1985 to facilitate area Ultimate Clubs, Free-style, and Disc Golf and to introduce a summer co-ed Ultimate league. PADA continues to support all things disc. In 2020, PADA installed its own disc-golf course at Edgely Ultimate Fields. The success of our leagues and community programs channels our energy into the sport of Ultimate.
PADA currently runs recreational leagues for adults of all skill levels each season. We offer outdoor leagues throughout the spring, summer and fall, and have a robust selection of indoor leagues throughout the colder months of the year. PADA partners with the School District of Philadelphia to offer after-school programming centered around Ultimate. PADA aspires to foster a strong sense of community among its members throughout the Philadelphia region.
