Founded in 2018 as a grassroots effort to bring the sport of touch rugby to the city of Philadelphia, Philly Touch Rugby is now an official 501c3 organized and operated exclusively to foster national and international amateur sports competition primarily by supporting and developing amateur athletes for competitions in the sport of touch rugby and conducting national and international competitions.
Philly Touch Rugby organized touch around the Federation of International Touch (FIT) rules, is a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union (EPRU), and welcomes all players to the pitch. No prior experience is necessary. Come learn the game and make great friends.
We practice at Edgley field every Sunday. When preparing for a tournament, we may have additional practices elsewhere around the city.
