Profile
Providence Women’s Rugby Football Club won the DII Senior Club National Championship in May of 2022, and has moved up to Division I for the fall season.
Want to be a part of our rugby family? The Providence Women’s Rugby team is always looking for new athletes – no rugby experience required. Though we are a competitive club, we do not have “tryouts” or “cuts” and there is place for everyone, we only ask that you come ready to work hard, learn new things, and have fun! If you are interested in playing with us please contact our captains.
Providence Rugby at its Finest!
Welcome to Providence Men’s RFC, a rugby club in the truest sense of the word. We are comprised of local, regional, national, and international members, and strive to embody the club spirit in all we do. On the field, PRFC competes in the highly competitive New England Rugby Football Union 2nd Division, and has continually fielded a strong and worthy side.
With a mix of homegrown and international players, PRFC maintains an active roster of over forty players. In addition to the players, PRFC has nationally-trained and accomplished coaches, and an extremely supportive executive board. If your playing days are behind you (which they never really are) Providence has almost as many social members who support the current side in various capacities. If you are looking to continue your playing career or interested in trying the greatest sport in the world for the first time, Providence Rugby invites you to reach out and climb aboard!
The Providence Rugby Men’s team is always looking for new players, whether you are new to the sport, a veteran, or a foreign player looking for an opportunity to come Stateside.
