The San Diego Adult Baseball League (SDABL) was founded in 1986 and has been San Diego’s oldest and largest adult baseball venue ever since. As of this writing in 2022 the League has successfully operated thirty-six years of family oriented, competitive and FUN baseball.
The SDABL is passionate about making baseball accessible to adults of all ages and abilities. Whether you are 18 or 70, the San Diego Adult Baseball League will have a team for you to play on which will comfortably fit your skill level. Our special rules allow each member to maximize playing time and minimize bench sitting. We fully understand we all have to pay to play this great game and being on the field is what makes it all come together.
The SDABL has been giving to high school baseball teams in the way of donated goods and services since that first year. We believe in playing baseball, as opposed to softball, and at the same time helping high school kids with equipment, baseballs, uniforms, baseball field upgrades and maintenance, dugout and fence repair and many other forms of assistance to those baseball kids that need it.
We are very proud to announce the SDABL has recently added a “sister” charity baseball league we call the San Diego Adult Baseball League Charity 4 Kids (SDABLC4K), a Federally approved 501(c)3 California not for profit corporation. Keep in mind, we are still San Diego’s largest and best adult baseball venue, but now not only can we as a league donate and help school kids but you can too. For every dollar or sports item of ANY sport, whether new or used, you donate through the SDABLC4K we will give you a tax deductible donation receipt.
If you are tired of playing softball or are intimidated about playing hardball again, now is the time to make the leap back to the great game you loved growing up….BASEBALL.
..Two Seasons per year, Spring 13-15 games and Fall 11-13 games;
..Divisions: 18+, 25+, 35+ 150 teams total yearly, both recreational (A) and advanced (AA);
..Games played on mostly varsity high school fields all over SD County;
..Average per player cost $175-$200 /season (about $15 /game);
..Each season offers playoffs with championships and awards for all players;
..If you are not already on a team but wish to be so, register as a Free Agent on this site and you will be invited to Tryouts before each season begins.
