Soccer Alaska is the largest adult amateur soccer program in the state and offer games all year long, with up to 2,000 players participating annually. Soccer Alaska is a nonprofit organization, founded in the early 2000s to provide safe and competitive soccer opportunities.
We take care of everything but playing the games: we create divisions and organize matches, book field space, build the schedules, train and certify referees, and provide insurance. Our goal is to give adults in South Central Alaska a way to play soccer year round in a safe and fun environment.
Soccer Alaska is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We aren’t in this for a fat paycheck – we charge enough to cover our field costs and pay our referees and our insurance premiums.
Because of the community’s incredible response to our efforts, it’s all going great! Soccer Alaska has become the largest adult soccer league in Alaska, with a sustainable structure and a ton of players.
