Southpark Adult Men’s (SPAM) Lacrosse was started in the Spring of 2013 based on the demand for an option for South Park Lacrosse Dads, Coaches and others in the community to get out and play lacrosse in a fun and supportive environment.
It is open to anyone but primarily older players, 30+ yrs old. No minors.
Participants run the gamut from ex-college/ high school players to late 40’s rookies. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, ROOKIES WELCOME!
The intent is purely to have a good time and get a great work out. Checking is restricted, teams are randomly set each week and everyone is expected to be supportive and positive at all times.
The purpose is to grow the game of lacrosse in the South Charlotte area, grow better coaches and parents through the experience of playing the game and of course fun and sportsmanship.
