Tahoe Sports & Social (TS&S) is a non-profit founded in South Lake Tahoe in 2019 and is dedicated to improving and expanding athletic and social opportunities in Lake Tahoe for locals and visitors alike. We know well the positive impact athletics and competitive sports have had on our personal lives and we want to help expand that impact to others. Our primary project and focus is adult recreation softball – furthering the long established summer league and continuing our fall turbo league. But our vision extends beyond softball leagues.
We intend to expand into other sports including kickball, dodgeball, volleyball, golf, and more in season-league and single tournament-event formats. We also hope to integrate this participant community with social events and shows.
We intend to help introduce softball and other sports to community members; make our leagues and events more visible and accessible, establish learn-to-play clinics, fundraising events, and more. Thorough our relations with participants, businesses, and other non-profits – we believe we can genuinely make an impact.
