The Toronto Spartan Volleyball League (TSVL) is a volunteer-run not-for-profit adult volleyball league catering mainly to the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, trans, queer and LGBTQ-friendly community in Toronto, Canada. The League provides an inclusive and fun environment to play volleyball and a social place to enjoy the company of new people and old friends.
The TSVL consists of over 650 members, making it the largest LGBTQ single-sport organization in Canada. We run our Competitive Division on Tuesday nights, Intermediate on Wednesdays and the Recreational Division on Thursday nights.
The TSVL uses high school gymnasiums in downtown Toronto, Queen West, Bloor West, Rosedale, Riverdale, Leslieville, and The Danforth for weekly league play. The League also hosts one-day tournaments for members, social events, skill development programming, and the annual two-day competitive tournaments: Rise of the Spartans (Fall) and Return of the Spartans (Summer).
