Mission Statement
Volleyball Austin offers the Central Texas lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) community and our straight allies the opportunity to experience and enjoy volleyball in an inclusive and affirming environment.
History
Volleyball Austin was the first LGBT indoor volleyball organization in Austin, offering a safe space for all members of the LGBT community to play and enjoy this amazing sport. Starting in 2012 with only 46 players on five teams, Volleyball Austin has grown to encompass over 200 players spanning four divisions and 20 different teams.
We currently run three seasons per year: Summer, Fall, and Winter! Our registration periods usually begin a few months prior to each season, so follow our Facebook page for announcements and other events we have going on throughout the year.
